Georgina's Hideaway came into being in 2008 with the thought of giving people a private, peaceful, spacious yet very comfortable rural escape within easy travelling time of Melbourne and to provide a place where everyone would be able to enjoy some well deserved rest and relaxation.

It was also taken into consideration that as it was able to accommodate up to 13 people (using both the main residence and the fully self contained 2 bedroom unit) that it would be a great place for groups - either small conferences or just to get together with good friends and family and enjoy the peaceful and private gardens with the gazebo/bbq area which would make an ideal setting to pass away the afternoon with some lovely local wine and food.

Georgina's is located approx. 9 kms from the thriving rural township of Heathcote and only about 90 minutes from Melbourne Airport and is set on a beautifully treed 5 acre property.

The majestic home with its long wide verandahs is set on the rise and cannot be seen from the road; so it offers seclusion and many places from which to listen and watch the native birds, kangaroos and the neighbours sheep.

The 5 bedroom residence offers space and comfort with ducted heating and evaporative cooling; to ensure comfort no matter what the season; along with the wood fire and the slow combustion stove. The main bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed and while resting in it you can see through the bay window; out into the gardens or you may enjoy looking at the charming leadlight window. The master bedroom also has a spacious full ensuite with a most inviting spa.

Three other bedrooms have equally comfortable queen size beds whilst the very well lit 5th bedroom has a king single bed. All of the beds have quality linen, pillows and doonas.

The formal lounge is cosy with its wood fire, inviting couches and television OR if you would prefer there is the big living room that also offers large comfortable couches, T.V. - DVD - SURROUND SOUND and a dining/conference table that easily seats 10 (this can be extended) and double glass doors opening out to the garden/gazebo area.

Kitchen facilities include a microwave, gas stove, slow combustion stove and a  dishwasher and the meals area  has a table that can seat 6.

The  fully self contained 2 bedroom unit is also available for larger groups and again it has the comforts of evaporative cooling and ducted heating another comfortable queen size bed in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in the second bedroom; also with quality linen, pillows and doonas.

In the unit the bathroom has a separate shower and bath and the kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave and gas cooking facilities.

It is hoped that people staying at Georgina's will enjoy the experience and feel renewed upon their departure.
